PTHSonde
A complete, reusable radiosonde system — pressure, temperature, humidity, wind, and GPS, streamed to a desktop ground station with a full sounding analysis.
Requires the PTHSonde Ground Station — sold separately.
Each PTHSonde is built and calibrated to order — tell us how many and when you need them, and we'll confirm your build slot and lead time, usually within one business day. Batch pricing available.

Overview
PTHSonde is a compact payload that measures pressure, temperature, and humidity — plus wind, GPS position, and battery health — and streams it over a long-range LoRa link to a one-click desktop ground station.
Highlights
Why it's different
Complete soundings, every flight
A full Skew-T sounding, hodograph, and severe-weather analysis, rendered from your balloon's own data.
Long-range downlink
A long-range LoRa link, tunable across the 902–928 MHz US band, with a ground receiver that plugs into any laptop over USB.
Reusable payload
A rugged, recoverable sonde with a swappable battery and a unique per-unit ID — recover it and fly again.

Goes well with

PTHSonde Ground Station
The receiving end of the PTHSonde link — a 915 MHz LoRa receiver that decodes telemetry in real time and streams it to the desktop app over USB.

PTH100 Sensor Breakout
The PTHSonde's pressure, temperature, and humidity suite as a research-grade I²C breakout — Qwiic plug-and-play, 3.3–16 V input, flown on balloons, drones, and aircraft.

Ground Station Software
The free PTHSonde ground-station app — a live Skew-T workstation with time-series telemetry, full SPC sounding analysis, a GPS map with GFS landing prediction, a balloon fill calculator, and link health.
