PTHSonde Ground Station
The receiving end of the PTHSonde link — a 915 MHz LoRa receiver that decodes telemetry in real time and streams it to the desktop app over USB.
Each PTHSonde Ground Station is built and calibrated to order — tell us how many and when you need them, and we'll confirm your build slot and lead time, usually within one business day. Batch pricing available.

Overview
The ground station closes the PTHSonde telemetry link. A dedicated 915 MHz LoRa receiver listens on the flight channel, validates every packet, and prints clean CSV telemetry over USB serial.
Connect it to a laptop, open the desktop app, and the flight appears — no drivers to hunt down, no configuration beyond picking the COM port. One ground station can serve an entire campaign; add spares so a vehicle and a base camp can both listen.
In the box
- LoRa ground receiver with antenna
- USB cable
- PTHSonde app — Windows or browser-based
Highlights
Why it's different
Plug in and receive
USB serial to any laptop. Pick the COM port in the desktop app and telemetry flows.
Checked, not guessed
Every packet is CRC-validated before it reaches your data — corrupted frames never touch the sounding.
Campaign-ready
Channel staging and lock from the app, so you can retune the link for the next flight without touching firmware.
